　　杰拉尔·德帕迪约将饰演多米尼克·斯特劳斯·卡恩，法国经济学家、律师、政治家，法国社会民主主义政党社会党党员，曾任法国财政部长。他在2007年 9月28日获选为国际货币基金组织总裁。2011年5月14日，纽约市警察局证实，卡恩因涉嫌性侵一名酒店服务员，目前被羁押在纽约市警局并接受警方质询。当地时间2012年5月19日，国际货币基金组织(IMF)总裁斯特劳斯—卡恩宣布辞职，并遗憾的与法国总统之位失之交臂。
